Three treated in hospital after corrosive fluid attack at Wellesbourne pub

A 26-year-old woman from Warwick has been arrested on suspicion of throwing a corrosive substance with intent and remains in custody whilst enquiries continue.

Detective Sergeant Cindy Stephenson said: “We believe this was targeted attack, and the suspect is known to the victims.

“We are continuing with a number of enquires and treating this as a serious offence. We would urge anyone who may have been in the pub at the time, or who may have any information about the attack to contact DC Sarah Jackson by calling 101 and quoting incident number 351 of 15 September.
