Three arrested over Stratford Post Office burglary

THREE people have been arrested as police continue their investigation into a burglary at Stratford-upon-Avon Post Office.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the branch on Henley Street, sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

It remained closed until Tuesday morning.

Police said today, Friday, A 23-year-old man and a 22-year-old man from Birmingham, and a 25-year-old woman from Stratford had been arrested on suspicion of burglary.

All three have now been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

A spokesman added: "Anyone with information can call police on 101, quoting incident number 89 of 7th January.

"Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org"
