Stratford AC on the road to success

RUTH Calderbank and Tim Hutchinson led the successes for Stratford-upon-Avon Athletic Club in the Warwickshire Road Race League.

They both were comfortable winners in their age category for the county-wide series.

This year there were 11 races across varied distances, including a couple of 5k races, a couple of five miles races, three at 10k, a six mile, nine mile and ten mile and finally a half marathon. Athletes really have to be all rounders to enjoy any level of success.

Annie Cox just missed out on the title by a single point in her women’s U20s category as Stratford enjoyed a competition to remember.

David Jones was also second in his M65 category.
