Southern Premier Central live: Stratford Town vs Hitchin Town

STRATFORD Town welcome Hitchin Town to the Arden Garages Stadium looking to make it back-to-back-wins for the first time since mid-September.

The Bards brought an end to their four-game winless run in the league on Saturday with a 4-2 victory over FA Cup heroes Needham market, thanks to two goals each from Jack Storer and Andre Wright.

Storer and Wright had built quite a rapport on Saturday and there will be hopes the fruitful partnership can continue to blossom. There was also a noticeable performance from debutant Sam Wilding in the heart of the midfield and Bards fans will hope there's more of those to come.

Saturday's win was much-needed and it stopped the slippery slope Stratford seemed to be sliding down. Gavin Hurren will now want to see his side kick on and start their climb back up the table.
