Shakespeare’s spellbinding masterpiece, The Tempest, is being put on in the spectacular gardens of Packwood House on Saturday.
Performed by the The Lord Chamberlain’s Men – an all male company – the evening promises
soaring poetry, high comedy and tender love, as Shakespeare’s late, great gem, examines the power of true love, our capacity for vengeance and what it takes to forgive.
Peter Stickney, Artistic Director, says: “I can’t think of anything more perfect for a summer’s evening than a classical retelling of this great play set against the background of one of the nation’s most beautiful outdoor venues.”
