Pebworth parties on this Sunday

THIS Sunday Pebworth Party In The Park takes place in the village, which featured on TV last week when comic Miranda Hart and her mum, Dee, visited to film their All Gardens Great and Small series there.

It kicks off with a Lancaster Bomber flypast at 1pm.

There is literally something for everyone at the annual country show/village fête. It will be jam-packed with stalls, shows, displays, activities, and quirky events such as Cow Pat Bingo, the Red Barrows Wheelbarrow Display Team, and Giant Sack Races. There’s also a great line-up of musical talent and even an opportunity to see some classic Messerschmitt cars.

You can also enjoy all the usual fête activities such as a dog show, dog agility display, children’s races, side show games, live music, street food, afternoon teas and a licensed bar. Event starts at midday.
