LOCAL creative arts company In 2 Cultures bring the African Children’s Choir to Stratford for the third year running next Wednesday, 7th June, at 7pm.

The choir is made up of children, aged seven to 12, from several African nations. Since its inception, it has included children from Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Nigeria, and Ghana.

Many have lost one or both parents to AIDS and other poverty-related diseases, and all are victims of extreme poverty.

The choir serves as the main fundraising branch for its parent organisation, Music For Life Institute, with proceeds used to fund Christian education and relief efforts for African children affected by poverty and disease.

The choir will be assisted in their energetic performance by 200 local schoolchildren.
