The evening tours will take place on Wednesday, 14th December, and Saturday 31st December, and from January, every fortnight until the spring months.

Alistair Goddon, operations manager, said: “Our after-hours character tours are a new and incredibly atmospheric way to explore Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall.

“They’ve also very much been created as an experience to enjoy as a social occasion with friends and family, with drinks and treats included – in fact what could be a better start to your New Year’s Eve celebrations.”

Tickets, which include a welcome drink and a glass of sparkling wine and a pastry at the end, are £25.
