Meet Jeremiah during an after-dark tour of Stratford's Schoolroom and Guildhall
A COLOURFUL character from the 18th century will be helping shine a light on some Stratford history this winter.
Jeremiah Pinchbeck, who was once the caretaker of Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall, will recount a tale or two as he guides visitors on a special after-dark tour.
The evening tours will take place on Wednesday, 14th December, and Saturday 31st December, and from January, every fortnight until the spring months.
Alistair Goddon, operations manager, said: “Our after-hours character tours are a new and incredibly atmospheric way to explore Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall.
“They’ve also very much been created as an experience to enjoy as a social occasion with friends and family, with drinks and treats included – in fact what could be a better start to your New Year’s Eve celebrations.”
Tickets, which include a welcome drink and a glass of sparkling wine and a pastry at the end, are £25.
