London comes to Stratford as Father Brown filming takes place

STRATFORD was turned into the London Borough of Ealing last Thursday (1st August) as a television crew set the scene for the filming of the BBC’s latest Father Brown series.

Hillward Street W5 appeared where there was once John Street and with it came period cars and posters on the wall. Anyone for a visit to The London Zoo at Camden?

Needless to say the cast and crew were keeping quiet about the plot for this episode of the popular drama which stars Mark Williams as Father Brown. He wasn’t seen in Stratford but he may be called in to solve a mystery of why there was a man lying in the street.

However, that mystery is unlikely to unravelled until next year when the new series is due to be broadcast.
