THE inaugural Pebworth Fringe Festival promises an unmissable festival mix of music, comedy and theatre this weekend.

Headline act, the Saturday Night Bee Gees, will be proving that Saturday Night Fever really is contagious, and they will be supported by Midlands soul band The Official Receivers, and original funk band The Payback. Cheshire Brooks will be playing melodic rock, alongside folk duo Neon Sky and Pebworth ‘house’ band The F Street Band. As well as the musical extravaganza, the festival will feature London Comedy Circuit comedian Sam Russell, fresh from his stand-up show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and the award-winning Caramba Theatre Company, with sketches from Steptoe and Son. It’s all for a good cause too, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. The event will be held on Pebworth Village Hall Green on Saturday, 1st September. Tickets are available online at www.PebworthFringeFestival.co.uk.
