Ilmington Morris Men May Day tour!

THE Ilmington Morris Men will be dancing around the 'home' village on Tuesday, which is May day.

Their traditional tour will see them meet at Ilmington Downs at 5.15am before dancing at the summit at sunrise.

They will then dance on Bennett Place at 6am in memory of Ethel Bennett and for Mrs Jean Hall; at 6.25am on The Lower Green in memory of Fred and Molly Paintin; at 7.15am on Washbrook Place and Featherbed Lane in memory of George and Lucy Frost; and at 7.30am at The Old Fox House in memory of Sam Bennett, who used to live there;

They will be outside Berry View on Back Street at 8am for Betty and in memory of John Bryan; Lower Campden Hill in memory of Mike Vincent at 8.15am; before having breakfast at The Howard Arms at 8.30am.

In the evening, at 6.30pm, they will be at The Red Lion Inn to 'dance in the new andlords Andy and Dee; and at the village hall at 7pm ahead of a concert, Through The Seasons concert, by With Will Pound, Benji Kirkpatrick and Ross Grant

Tickets are £15, £17 on the door.
