Free support event in Stratford will help older people with their tech devices





OLDER Stratford residents can learn how to get the most from their tech devices at a free event taking place tomorrow (Wednesday).

The support session at Margaret Court on Tiddington Road will help people with devices such as iPhones, iPads, Apple watches and Audible books as well as software and apps.

It is being run by Compassion First Home Care from 10.30am till 12.30pm. Residents can bring along their tech, ask questions and get one-to-one or group support.

A spokesperson said: “We hope to also help them improve communication lines with loved ones, friends and even long, lost friends by utilising social media messaging, WhatsApp and Facebook friends' searching.

“Additionally, just being able to utilise online services such as Amazon, banking, BBC iPlayer and Netflix will have obvious benefits too.”

The firm is aiming to take the free support service to other retirement homes in Stratford and the surrounding areas.
