TWO teenage actors with the Playbox Theatre Company are performing their own play this weekend. Calum Blackie, aged 15, has written the hour-long drama called Furnace for your Foe. It tells the story of two enemy teenage soldiers who have lost hope in what they’re fighting for — they develop a trusting bond and yet never learn each other’s names or see each other’s faces. Syd Sutherland, 14, also stars, while Alfie Jones directs. Performances take place at the Dream Factory, Warwick, this Saturday and Sunday at 4pm. Tickets are £5 and available from www.playboxtheatre.com or call 01926 419555.
