AN exhibition of Frank Brangwyn’s work, ‘A Mission to Decorate Life’ will be celebrated at Court Barn Museum, in Chipping Campden, until Sunday 2nd October.

Internationally renowned during his lifetime Sir Frank Brangwyn (1867-1956) was highly regarded as an artistic jack-of-all-trades and created more than 12,000 works.

Dr Libby Horner will give a talk on ‘Brangwyn’s Architecture and Interior Design’ at the museum on tomorrow (Saturday 6th August) at 6pm.

Dr Horner, a leading expert on Brangwyn, will explore the varied disciplines which Brangwyn mastered from stained glass, furniture, ceramics, glassware and jewellery to architecture and interiors, with special reference to works in our region. Tickets cost £7.

The exhibition opened on Saturday 16th July, with a one-on-one by David Brangwyn, who talked about his ancestor Frank.
