The Contemporary Arts Fair — also known as Discover: Gather: Give — is an exciting and eclectic arts fair and is supported by both Warwickshire Open Studios and Visual Arts.

This Saturday and Sunday you can see the very best local and regional artisanal work in one place: Stratford Town Hall. All manner of desirable objects and works will be shown, including jewellery, paintings, sculptures, ceramics, etc

Organiser Judith Layhe-Cook says she set up the arts fair in 2014 as “art and good design makes the world a better place in which to live, but only if you have access to it.” Judith, who makes soaps, perfumes and beauty products under the Shakespeares Sisters label continued: “Stratford-upon-Avon is renowned as the center of performing arts with its links to Shakespeare, and I also wanted to raise the profile of the richness of local and regional contemporary arts.”

She added: “To me Discover: Gather: Give offers everyone the joy of discovering an artist whose work you did not know, gathering together pieces to buy on the day or commission at your leisure and then giving that unique piece of art to someone special to you.”

There will be a café selling delicious cakes and coffee, and entry is free, although donations will be collected for the Shakespeare Puppies Appeal.
