Christmas lights in Stratford always lift the spirits and this year organisers hope they will be a particular bright spot – and they certainly looked good at a trial run on Monday. While there will not be a switch-on ceremony as in previous years, the lights will be turned on, on 19th November, ready to get people looking ahead to the planned end of lockdown on 2nd December and the chance to support town centre businesses in the run-up to Christmas Day.
