The ticket price includes a copy of author John Crawshaw’s romance novel, The Swing, as well as cocktail.

John, who lives in Alcester, and will be at the Boozy Book Club, was diagnosed with dyslexia and had never read a novel before he published his first book in 2021. He now has a portfolio of books and is working on a sequel to The Swing.

Jessica said: “The idea of a book club could be considered to be quite uninspiring, but when paired with delicious cocktails, good books and close friends, there is a recipe for a fantastic evening of fun and laughter.”

Tickets for the event, which will be monthly, are £12. See https://tinyurl.com/44wxbr9d
