500 Morris dancers will be touring Stratford, Chipping Campden, Alcester and elsewhere as part of national event




FIVE hundred Morris dancers will be taking part in the Annual National Morris Weekend which runs across three counties.

On Saturday, 21st June, 39 sides from across England and Wales will bring music and centuries-old tradition to towns and villages in Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.

This includes performances in Stratford, Chipping Campden, Alcester, Ardens Grafton, Bidford, Ilmington and Warwick.

The main event takes place in Evesham, between 20th and 22nd June, where there will be folk music, a ceilidh, mass dance performances and a procession of 32 Morris sides.
