Alcester & Ragley youngsters give Birmingham Bears a guard of honour at Edgbaston




YOUNGSTERS from Alcester & Ragley got the chance to give the Birmingham Bears a guard of honour before their Vitality Blast game against Worcestershire Rapids, writes James Verralls.

Aspiring cricketers aged from five to 15 met their heroes before taking in the match on 24th June which the Bears won by a comprehensive 144 runs.

Coach Ian Biddle told the Herald: “It was great for the kids because for most of them it was their first time participating in an event like this and it was a good experience for them.”
