Weekend football round-up




FC Stratford remain top of the table, but their lead has been cut to two points following Leamington Hibernian's 6-1 win at Burntwood Town.

Shipston Excelsior moved up to eighth thanks to a 2-0 victory over Coventrians. Patrick Fetherston and Jake Harris got the goals.

Badsey Rangers suffered a 4-1 home defeat to Redditch Borough. Oliver Payne struck for Badsey but goals from Jamie Hatfield, Craig Malins, Ben Roddy and Ben Cox saw Redditch take all three points.

In Midland League Division One, Racing Club Warwick returned to action after a seven-week lay-off and suffered the consequences at Cadbury Athletic.

Wade Malley and William Green were both on target, but a rusty-looking Racers went down 4-2.

Littleton were held to a surprise 2-2 draw at struggling Heather St Johns.

In division two, a much-changed Earlswood Town side went down 3-2 at Fairfield Villa.
