ALCESTER Town moved up to second in Midland League Division Three following a 5-0 victory over Birmingham Tigers at Stratford Road.

Callum Burston-Keeley struck twice in the win, while there were singles from Luke Dugmore, Tom Keogh and Daniel Priest.

Shipston slumped to their seventh league defeat of the season following a 4-2 loss at FC Shush.

Tyron Smith's hat-trick and one from substitute Dylan Richardson cancelled out Shaye Eden's brace.

Central Ajax came out on top of a ten-goal thriller against Castle Vale at Ajax Park. Matt Layton led the way with a hat-trick, with Ajax's other goals coming courtesy of Nick Dyde, Alex Andrews and an own goal.

FC Stratford continued their rise up the Midland League Division Two table with a 3-2 success at Coton Green.

Ashley Wilkes, James Macmillan and Alfie Boylin were the men on target for Stratford, who move up to ninth in the table.

Earlswood Town went out of the Les James Challenge Cup on penalties following a 1-1 draw at Coventry Alvis.

Nathan Stoute's 12th-minute opener saw Alvis lead at the break, but Courtney Sowe's second-half equaliser saw the game go to a shoot-out. Alvis held their nerve to win 3-2 on spot-kicks.

Studley are up to seventh in Midland League Division One thanks to an impressive 2-1 win over table-toppers Lichfield City at The Beehive. Jamie Clarke and Steve Roche got the crucial goals.
