Weekend football preview

Town were clearly lacking in match fitness, having played just three games since 5th December and they could be facing another washout this weekend.

A 10.30am pitch inspection is planned at Latimer Park.

In Midland League Division One, Racing Club Warwick will be looking to avoid a potential banana skin when they host bottom club Stafford Town. Stafford won only their second league game of the season last weekend.

Second-from-bottom Bolehall Swifts face a tough assignment at mid-table Littleton, while Southam United will hope to pick up some much needed points at home to Heath Hayes.

Studley and Pershore Town are both in need of points and it could be quite a battle when the two sides meet at The Beehive.

In Midland League Division Three, top entertains bottom this week when FC Stratford welcome AFC Solihull to Knights Lane.

Barton United and Badsey Rangers will meet for the second time in a week, while in-form Alcester Town travel to Staffordshire to face mid-table Burntwood Town.

Two sides struggling for form meet at Boldmere as Sports & Social Falcons face Shipston Excelsior.

In the Birmingham Saturday Vase, Earlswood Town host Kenilworth Wardens.
