WATCH: Earlswood ease to nine-wicket success over Studley
CAPTAIN Alex Laud led the way with an unbeaten century as Earlswood breezed to a nine-wicket success over Studley.
Studley were put into bat after losing the toss and were bowled out for 236 in the final over of their innings at Watery Lane.
Opener Chris Moss top scored with a steady 59 off 110 balls while Liam Murphy blasted a much quicker 51 off 38.
Usamah Khan also chipped in with a quick-fire 38 to set Earlswood a decent target to chase.
However, the hosts made light work of their run chase.
Sardara Narotra fell for 60 with the score on 94 and Ben Cox came to the crease to form a match-winning 143-run partnership with Laud.
Laud finished unbeaten on 105 off 102 balls while Cox was 61 not out.
