Vaughan not ready to change approach

DEFENDER Lee Vaughan said he will not be toning down his all-action approach now that he has taken on a player/coach role at Stratford Town.

And he insists that he has no intention to give up his shirt in spite of some tough competition for a place in the starting line-up.

The 37-year-old former Cheltenham Town, Kidderminster Harriers and Solihull Moors defender signed for the Bards towards the end of last season and played a key role in the side’s impressive end of season form. This term he has been handed a new role, working alongside manager Gavin Hurren and assistant Keenen Meakin-Richards.
