The team of Seren Welsh, Skye Holtom, Chloe Jones, Marley Wright, Clara Zaffinani, Amaya Atkins, Dita Nicholls, Ella Taylor Noble, Scarlett Burkitt, Ellie Shirley, Matilda Berwick, and Millie Clark faced up to their talented opponents from Dorset last Thursday.

Displaying some excellent control and goalkeeping, the team ran out comfortable winners in the end and will now travel to Wilmslow High School in Manchester for the last eight tie on Thursday, 3rd March.

Coach Paul Turrell said: “This is the third time in the school’s history that we have got to the later stages of this competition, with a win in 2012 and runners up in 2015.

"We are tremendously proud of the girls' achievements so far, it takes a lot of hard work and hours of practice for them to get to this level so we are really pleased that it has paid off for them."
