Town need to be more consistent, urges Carl Adams

But he says they still need to be more consistent. They have yet to put together two wins in a row.

“The consistency level just isn’t there but I don’t think for a minute that I am the only manager in the league to say we need some consistency,” said Adams.

“You just need to look at the league to see the proof of that. Seventy-five per cent of the teams have won four games and lost four. It’s so tight.

“If any team can get that consistent run of results, they will soon go up the league. But if you get a run of defeats you can soon slide down the table.”

Town are still only three points off fifth spot, but they will face a test of their quality on Saturday when fourth-placed Chippenham Town visit the DCS Stadium (kick-off 3pm).
