Town blow two-goal lead to lose at Biggleswade
But Stratford were soon into their stride and took the lead on 12 minutes. A patient build-up involving Emmit Delfouneso, Simeon Tulloch and Tyrone Fagan led to the ball being threaded thorough to the unmarked Richard Gregorym who coolly slotted it past the Waders' keeper Garry Malone.
The imposing Inih Effiong was the Waders' main threat, and he came close to equalising ten minutes later when he beat the offside trap down the inside left channel. Andy Kemp was smartly off his line to block his shot, but he seized on the rebound to fire narrowly wide.
From the half-hour mark, Stratford began to have the better of the possession with Michael McGrath catching the eye in midfield.
Town doubled their lead as the half moved into stoppage time when Fagan ran onto Gregory’s through-ball to slide it past the advancing Malone.
But the Waders got themselves back into the game in the final action before the break when Ian Rees turned in a right-wing cross from ten yards out.
And 15 minutes into the second half they were level as Stratford carelessly lost possession in their own half and the ball was played through to Craig Daniel, who fired past Kemp from virtually on the penalty spot.
The Waders went ahead on 71 minutes when Stratford failed to deal with a long throw from the right and Effiong smashed in the loose ball from close range.
Stratford thought they had rescued a point when substitute Dior Angus made it 3-3 with three minutes remaining, but their defence let them down again when Effiong ran through to shoot past Kemp in the 90th minute.
