Town and Racing Club fixtures both postponed

FOOTBALL

STRATFORD Town’s match against Hitchin Town tonight has fallen victim to the big freeze.

After an early afternoon inspection, the Evo-Stik Southern Premier fixure has been postponed. The club said the pitch and the spectator areas around the MoodChimp Stadium have both been deemed unsafe.

A new date for the fixture has yet to be announced.

Carl Adams’ side are next due to be in action on Saturday when Tiverton Town visit the MoodChimp, weather permitting.

Racing Club Warwick’s match away to Heather St John’s in the Total Motion Midland League Division One has also been called off.
