Striker O’Sullivan hits first treble as the Bards run riot

SUMMER signing Riley O’Sullivan celebrated his Stratford Town league debut by bagging a hat-trick as his side stormed to a 6-1 opening day routing of visitors Needham Market.

And he put the treble – his first in senior football – down to the new-found confidence and his partnership with fellow striker Callum Ebanks.

Former Cheltenham frontman Ebanks set the ball rolling with a first half double before O’Sullivan took centre stage with three great strikes before Dan Lafferty added the sixth.
