STRATFORD Town have ended their search for a goalkeeper with the signing of Nathan Vaughan.

The 37-year-old returns to the club after making one appearance for Town back in August 2016, a performance that earned him the man-of-the-match award in a 3-2 win over Hitchin.

Vaughan has plenty of National League experience under his belt, having previously had spells at Kidderminster Harriers, Worcester City, Chester City and Solihull Moors.

At Moors last season, Vaughan made a name for himself by scoring in an away win at Torquay United in August.

It led to him to winning the National League player of the month award.

Stratford boss Darren Byfield has also boosted his defensive options with the addition of centre-back Jordan Williams.

The 20-year-old was at Brackley Town last season following three successful seasons at Cambridge United.
