Stratford Town make double signing
STRATFORD Town have completed the double signing of striker Nabil Shariff and midfielder Kevin Monteiro.
Shariff, a prolific frontman with a proven eye for goal, joins from St Neots, having previously played for Alfreton Town and AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
Town supporters will be hoping the arrival of Shariff can fill the void left by last season’s top scorer Ben Stephens, who signed a two-year deal at Macclesfield Town last month.
Shariff’s record at Diamonds suggests he might be that man, having fired 40 goals in 73 appearances for the club.
Monteiro played under Town boss Darren Byfield at Redditch last season. The Frenchman has experience in the National League with Southport, while he also enjoyed a short stint with Welsh side Airbus UK.
