STRATFORD Seconds will looking to end the season in style when they meet Worcester Nomads at Swans Nest Lane in the final match of their Birmingham League campaign tomorrow (Saturday).

The Panthers head into the contest in third place in the Second XI Division Two South but 11 points separate the top three.

Stratford will need to target a victory and hope Pershore, one point ahead in second place, or Wombourne, in top spot ten points clear of Pershore, slip up to jump into the top two.

Wombourne entertain Streetly this weekend, and Pershore are at home to Nuneaton.

Stratford Firsts have no pressure on them as they travel to Nomads for their final game in Division Three.

Mike Brown’s men ended any relegation worries with victory over Streetly last weelend while Nomads have already been relegated.

Brown, though, says there will still be plenty to play for.

“The pressure is off as such but we still want to go out and put in a professional performance,” he said. “We’re safe now but we’ve got personal and team goals to aim for.”

Despite flirting with the drop zone, Stratford could finish as high as fifth if they win and results go their way.
