Stratford meeting abandoned due to waterlogged track

MONDAY'S meeting at Stratford Racecourse has been abandoned because of a waterlogged track.

Clerk of the course Nessie Lambert tweeted: "We have had to unfortunately abandon.

"We have had 4mm of rain in the last hour and more forecast. The track is now waterlogged in areas."
