Stratford lead the way in Premier Division
THREE games into the new Warwickshire League cricket season and Stratford are the only unbeaten side in the Premier Division.
They chalked up their third win on the bounce with a three-wicket victory at Olton & West Warwickshire where opener Neel Ammanath hit a century to guide his side to 268/7 after their hosts had been dismissed for 265.
Of the bowlers, Cameron Stiles was the main wicket-taker with 3-41.
In Division Three, Studley opener Keiron Ward top scored with 67 to help his side to a draw at Fillongley. Sam Fonyodi (31no) and Dan Taylor also made telling contributions while Andrew Rhodes claimed 3-43.
The hosts reached 257/8 while Studley were on 200/8 at the end of their overs.
League neighbours Earlswood lost by three wickets at home to Stockton Star, Johangir Khan top scoring for the home side 53.
Tanworth & Camp Hill are the only side to win both of their games at the start of the Cotswold Hills Premier Division campaign as they followed up their opening day victory with a six-wicket defeat of visitors Alcester & Ragley.
A 76-run third-wicket stand between Martin Perfect (34no) and James Carey (35) was key while Jake Wright took 4-24 and Andy Turnbull 3-2.
