Stratford golfers enjoy annual eggstravaganza

EASTER Saturday saw the annual Easter Egg competition at Stratford-on-Avon Golf Club, with more than 100 members taking part.

Teams of four per group competed with the best three scores per hole from the team to count.

The winners with 124 points were Stewart Good, Nick Ford, Martin Sheppard and Phil Oliver.

Following a brunch and keeping with tradition, club captain Brent Harding handed out an Easter egg on behalf of the club to every single member competing in the competition.

The busy club schedule and team season tees off this week with matches versus Broadway, Olton and Ladbrook Golf Clubs, with the first Gent’s Medal also on the calendar.
