Stratford beat Shirley to reach final of Warwickshire Cup

STRATFORD Golf Club’s men’s scratch team have reached the final of the Warwickshire Cup following Saturday’s semi-final success over Shirley.

Played in the challenging pairs foursomes format where alternative shots are played, Stratford members Rob Copperthwaite, Jamie Brookes, Ryan Humphriss, Tom Wilson, Nick Ford and Jonny Worthy all played well and won three games to nil.

Stratford will now take on Maxstoke Park in the final, due to be played at The Warwickshire Golf and Country Club at the end of April.
