THE record books of Stratford Bards are needing more and more chapters after more history-making endeavours.

The Cotswold Hills League Division Four title-chasers registered their biggest ever winning margin after beating Blockley by 310 runs.

The victory was based by another record, with Will Noble and Luke Nardone compiling a 278-run first-wicket partnership. Noble hit 171 and Nardone 137.

The Bards, now eight points behind leaders Dorridge and Hockley Heath, face Tanworth and Camp Hill 2nds at Alscot Park on Saturday.
