ANOTHER sporting year has flown by and with the freezing temperatures wreaking havoc on the weekend’s fixtures once again, we thought we’d take a look back at some of the best photos from 2022.
The Herald’s award-winning photographer, MARK WILLIAMSON , and IAIN DUCK have been out and about covering a wide range of sports this year, ranging from football, rugby and cricket to lawn bowls, strength sports, tug-of-war and clay pigeon shooting.
There’s been plenty of action across the Herald patch throughout a year which has been blighted with government controversies, the cost-of-living crisis and the ongoing war in Ukraine.
As we all settle down for Christmas, here are some of our favourite photos from throughout 2022.
As with all of our pictures, these can be purchased from https://stratfordherald.zenfolio.com .
Merry Christmas to all our readers.
