Skipper wants to create a fortress

NEW Stratford Cricket Club skipper James Urquhart wants to turn their Swans Nest ground into a fortress as they look to challenge in the Premier Division of the Warwickshire League.

And he is also hoping that a deal can be struck to bring in an overseas player to boost their season – both on and off the field.

Urquhart has taken over the captain’s duties from Dexter Purser and admits he was unsure of accepting the role initially.
