Six of the best as Williams strikes gold

STRATFORD-upon-Avon Athletic Club enjoyed a Midland Masters Championships to remember with a dazzling array of medal-winners.
Paula Williams led the way with six gold medals in a dominating performance in the event at Nuneaton on Sunday.
Christine Coote, in her first championships, returned with one gold and three silvers and two club records as well.
There were also two medals for her husband, Peter, in javelin and discus.
Andy Reeves took two gold, Brian Gravelsons won two silver, Paul Hawkins set a club record in his gold medal performance and Phil Brennan rounded off a successful championships for Stratford by taking gold in both the 800m and 1,500m with a championship best time in the latter.
