Shottery A hit top form to become joint leaders

SHOTTERY A have joined JLM Hussars as joint leaders of the Stratford & District Association.

While Hussars slipped to their first defeat of the season to Blazing Paddles, Shottery A swept aside Veterans 10-0,

Gary Stewart, Stephen Foster and Graham Poole won all three singles for Shottery A.

Nello Mauri was unbeaten for Blazing Paddles in their 6-4 victory against Hussars, with Chris Dickens winning twice and Wilf Chan taking a crucial win.

Alan Cotton recorded a treble to help Snitterfield win 7-3 at Colebridge Pasties, while Henley B gaining a 9-1 victory over their A team, with Andy Rowland and Martin Clayton unbeaten.

Elsewhere, JLM Cavaliers won 9-1 against Ashorne, and Tanworth Taipans drew 5-5 with Colebridge Bulldogs.
