Sharpshooter Zoe Perkin lands GB call-up

SNITTERFIELD shooter Zoe Perkin is celebrating after being selected in the Great Britain talent squad for rifle shooting.
The 15-year-old, who shoots with the 8th Warwicks Home Guard Rifle Club, is the reigning Warwickshire county champion, while she also recently won the ladies and junior championship events at the Sutton Coldfield Open.
“We are very proud of her,” said Zoe’s father, Paul.
“She’s been training near enough every night and she deserves all of the success she gets.”
The Henley-in-Arden School pupil is now preparing the Eley Finals, to be held in Bisley, Surrey, on 13th-14th October.
