Roadshow date with the Bears
WARWICKSHIRE Bears will be at Stratford Cricket Club next week when they will take on a league representative side including Stratford’s own Osian Catlin.
The T20 match against a Warwickshire League XI starts at 5.30pm on Wednesday 31st July and will form part of as community fun day that will incorporate an u11 girls and u9 boys softball festival.
Stratford’s junior cricketers will also be able to take advantage of some top-tier coaching from members of the Warwickshire team.
Warwickshire’s Andy Wyles, participation and growth manager, said: “This is a new venue that the Bears Roadshow is visiting and an exciting time to bring some quality cricket to the south of the county. We’ve got a great relationship with Stratford CC and run a lot of our summer holiday camps in that location.
“For 11 players from these local leagues to take on some of the biggest names in domestic cricket is an opportunity that doesn’t come around very often.”
The roadshow starts at 1pm and admission costs £5, with children under 16 free.
