The 14-year-old from Fulready achieved her dream of appearing at the show, which ran from 1st-4th July, after being selected in the Pony Club’s Three Nations mounted games team for the DAKS Home International Mounted Games Championships.

Regan, a pupil at Kineton High School, helped the team secure third place in the championships and enjoyed the experience of competing in front of royalty.

“I had the most fabulous time,” she said. “The atmosphere of the crowd was incredible and to have ridden in front of the Queen was just unbelievable.

“I also got to meet the Earl and Countess of Wessex, Prince Edward and Sophie. I made so many memories that will stay with me forever, and my pony absolutely blew me away.

“To go in as the underdogs and come out in third place was amazing. It was the best four days of my life.”
