STRATFORD Town manager Gavin Hurren admitted he was proud of his players after they fought back to secure a point after striker Callum Ebanks saw red early in their midweek match with visitors Banbury United.
And he praised the contribution of fellow frontman Reece Styche who came off the bench and played a key role in the 1-1 draw.
Ebanks was sent off for foul and abusive language following a challenge from Banbury skipper Yaw Ofosu after just 25 minutes. The Bards survived a nervous spell before sending on Styche just before the break and were unlucky not to claim all three points after the visitors were reduced to ten men in the 75th minute.
