New injury blow for Town defender
He has returned to action with a loan spell at Coleshill Town but he now faces a new lay-off after breaking his armplaying for the Midland Premier side last weekend.
Manager Adams said: “It’s a real blow for Guy and for ourselves.
“He has fractured his elbow and because it’s the elbow he can’t have it plastered. We’re looking at another six to eight weeks before he can play again.”
While Marcell Simpson and Liam Francis have generally been sound at centre-back, Clark’s knowhow and experience would have been vital as Town look for the missing consistency in their results.
After arguably their best performance of the season in beating Coventry City in the Birmingham Senior Cup last Wednesday, they produced a woeful show on Saturday to lose to Frome.
Adams says there will be changes in the line-up tomorrow (Tuesday) when Stratford face Kettering Town at the DCS Stadium in the Red Insure Cup (7.45pm).
