Midland League weekend preview

The result put a dent in Stratford's title hopes, but Alcester can do their neighbours a favour on Saturday with victory at Hibs.

Alcester player-boss James Robbins said: "Before the Inkberrow game I suggested that the next four games will go a long way to shaping our season.

"We have won the first two of those fixtures and we look forward now to Hibs this weekend."

FC Stratford are in Vase action as they go to Northfield Town.

Badsey Rangers head to an out-of-sorts Burntwood Town, while Shipston Excelsior will be confident of making it two wins from two when they take on Boldmere Sports & Social Falcons at London Road.

In Midland League Division One, Terry Davidson looks to record his first win as interim boss of Southam United with a home game against Pilkington XXX.

Racing Club Warwick head to title hopefuls Leicester Road, while at the Beehive tenth meets ninth as Studley entertain Littleton.

At the bottom of Midland League Division Two, Earlswood Town have a chance to inflict instant revenge on Fairfield Villa after the latter edged last weekend's meeting 3-2.
