The 13-year-old Stratford School student – who boxes for Cleary’s ABC in Leamington – beat Lorenuir Dupont from Pleck ABC by a unanimous points decision.

“I’m pleased to be the new Midlands schoolboy champion,” said McCracken.

“I’m also happy to be back boxing after a break because of Covid-19 and can now push on with my path to more titles.

“I’m very proud to represent my town and put Stratford on the boxing map.

"Thanks for all the hard work my coaches put in and thanks to all the Herald readers for the support.”
