Stratford AC's Ben Kruze second at Wright Hassall Regency 10k




A BLISTERING performance from Ben Kruze saw the Stratford AC member claim second place at the Wright Hassall Regency 10k.

Kruze completed the trail around Newbold Comyn park in a barnstorming 32:05. Not far behind was Matt Burdus-Cook who achieved fifth place with a time of 34:27.

Max Ross was the third Stratford vest across the finish line in 29th place with a time of 39:00.

This was a new personal best for Ross, carving a good five minutes off his 2019 effort on this course to claim his first sub-40 10k.

Next through was Max’s wife Suzanne Ross in 46:38 to take 200th place.

She was followed by Philip Brennan (53:24), Lisa Stevens (54:38), David Maundrell (58:30) and Jan McLure (58:38) who all finished in under an hour.

Jill Wilson completed the course in 1:14:27, while John Butler crossed the line in 1:17:33.
