Kineton edge closer to lifting Premier crown
KINETON took another giant step towards the Cotswold Hills League Premier Division title with a 76-run victory over basement side Norton Lindsey and Wolverton.
But they had to work hard for their win with the visitors taking wickets at regular intervals after the Bridge Street side had opted to bat first.
Overseas player Will Mahoney top scored with 31 followed by James Cooper (29) on their way to 195 all out in the 40th over. Of the bowlers, Norton Lindsey skipper Jack Yendall took 4-60 and there were also useful contributions form Tom Wilcox (3-49) and Andrew Dewar whose ten overs saw him take 2-26.
